At Southern Charm Flower Farm, everything we grow follows the rhythm of the seasons. Each part of the year brings its own colors, textures, and personalities to the field, and our bouquets reflect that natural abundance. Our Seasonal Offerings page gives you a glimpse of what’s blooming and when—because our flowers aren’t imported or mass‑produced. They’re grown slowly and in harmony with the land. Our first spring is especially meaningful, marking the first flush of Italian ranunculus and anemones and the beginning of our first beautiful year on the farm. Everything we offer is grown right here in Winnsboro—no imports, no mass production, just honest, field‑fresh blooms rooted in the rhythms of the land. Spring is the beginning of everything here. After months of quiet work—clearing land, building structures, planting seedlings, tending soil—the first blooms of the year feel like a deep breath. The air softens, the light shifts, and the fields begin to hum with possibility.

The Stars of Spring
My absolute favorite flower. I bet I can make it yours, too.
Ranunculus are the showstoppers of spring, each bloom a swirl of silky, layered petals packed so tightly they look almost unreal. They come in every color imaginable, from pure white to golden yellow, the palest peach to the deepest orange. My favorites are the pinks - from a whisper of blush to an electric hot pink - and they all delight me endlessly.
Don't let their delicate appearance fool you - with a little bit of care they unfold slowly over days - easily lasting 10 days in a vase. These beauties are tough but oh-so-special.
Anemones are the wild hearts of spring—bright, expressive, and full of movement. Their dark centers and fluttering, papery petals give them a personality all their own, like little faces turning toward the light.
They pair beautifully wtih every other flower - working well with every other bloom, wide open and friendly. They are the flowers that make you smile without meaning to. We are growing them in bright white with deep purple centers that smell like honey along with some delicate shades of blue, violet and pink.
